Four Hamilton Field airmen and four other people were injured in fog related crashes on Marin roads and at Hamilton Field. In one collision near the Chateau on Highway 101, Leslie Ware stopped to pick up hitch-hikers and was rear ended by Vern Gallmeister who could not see due to the dense fog. All injured were taken to Hamilton Field base hospital with minor injuries.
