Six Airmen Hurt In Early Morning Collision On Marin Roads
Ten people were taken to hospitals after a series of crashes on Golden Gate Bridge and U S 101 near San Rafael during a five hour period. Six injured were Air Force men from Hamilton AFB in a two car wreck on the Redwood highway three lane section, with cars burning and firefighters on scene. The same night, a second incident on U S 101 injured two others, and a Golden Gate Bridge crash added two more casualties, including Miss Joan Nunes, a San Francisco Symphony violinist, and Roger Ramis of San Francisco. Eugene Schuette of Petaluma faced drunk driving charges following the latter collision.

Two Jailed On Narcotics Charge At San Quentin Visit
Two Bay Area residents were held in Marin county jail for attempting to pass heroin to a prisoner at San Quentin. Mrs Trina Stockey of Berkeley and Ernest Lawrence of San Francisco were detained after a guard saw them hand something to Frank W Barr, who was searched and found with a spindle of heroin. Stockey is Burr's sister and Lawrence his cousin, officials said.
