She belongs to National Junior and National Honor Societies, active in GAA band and chorus, on annual and newspaper staffs, and acted in drama. Kathleen Whitver, also of Walnut, is salutatorian with leadership roles in FHA Art Club GAA and band. she will attend Western Illinois University after high school.
