An old advertisement touts Harklen’s Arnica Balm as a cure for blotches pimples and many skin ailments. It claims rapid bowel movement next day and promises refunds if not satisfied. Sold by Modesto Pharmacy with pharmacist E B Merp and mentions other druggists like Hugband Turner.
An old time remedy advertises Aliens Foote Eane powder to shake into shoes for awake feet, cooling relief and easier walking. Claims cure for swollen sweaty feet, ingrown nails, blisters, corns and bunions with quick comfort. Offers 260 package and free trial from druggists and stores in LeRoy and Olmated, New York.
An old advertisement touts Grove’s Tantelesa Chill Tonic as a malaria remedy and blood cleanser. It claims to ease constipation, improve skin, appetite, and energy, and promotes sale by Haaband & Turner and Hostand & matt. It also markets other tonics and a meat prescription for materia suareass with inexpensive prices and trial offers.
