Two Fire Calls Over The Week End
A two story frame house at 921 Rear East Elm Street owned by Nentwig Lumber Company and occupied by A H Wintermeyer family and Mrs Tina Vieland family was damaged to about 2000 dollars by a fire at 1030 Sunday morning. The fire department found the dwelling in flames as they arrived and the cause was undetermined though likely a coal oil stove left burning. A second run to Wm Bens on Cinder Lane extinguished a roof fire with damage around zero dollars.

Walsh Plans Return of Dunklin Street Theater as Cinema
Jefferson City real estate dealer James Walsh has bought the Dunklin Street theater from John H. Shary of Mission Texas and will remodel it to open a motion picture show soon.
