Three Bad Check Cases Disposed Of
Three worthless check cases were disposed of yesterday by Prosecuting Attorney Nike G. Sevier in local justice courts. Charles Gereke was sentenced to thirty days in the county jail after pleading guilty before Judge W. P. Smith for a bad $3 check to Heinrichs Case on Madison street. Gerelh was arrested yesterday by Constable John Bruner. Clayton Kruger of New Bloomfield was fined $10 and costs after pleading guilty to two bad checks to Sinclair Oil Company before Judge John G. Kruger’s overdrawn account prompted a light sentence recommendation. Complaint was dismissed against Truman Jones after Sinclair Oil admitted no five days notice was given. Jones made the check good yesterday.
