The eighth annual Planned Progress Leaders Conference sponsored by Missouri Power and Light Company was held at MeCling Park on a Tuesday with about 150 attendees. Key speakers included J D James Major John G Christy and Dr Robert W Paterson presenting talks on public information landscaping and small community problems. Fatima High School students directed by Harry E Jannick presented an award winning report from the December competition. Group discussions followed at 2:15 p.m. to exchange progress program ideas.
