Campbell dies after long illness in Sentinel Oklahoma
G F Campbell brother of Miss Virginia Campbell of Jefferson City died early yesterday at his Sentinel Oklahoma home after a cancer operation at Mayo Brothers Hospital Rochester Minnesota failed. His condition worsened since the procedure and Miss Campbell, longtime Capital News employee on Madison Street, had kept vigil at his bedside for weeks.

Cole Prosecutor Travels to Minnesota for Extradition Hearing
Prosecuting Attorney Sam S. Haley left for Minneapolis to represent Cole County at a governor led hearing over the extradition of J. H. Van Unger wanted in Jefferson City. Mrs. Sarah Callahan Dies at Centertown
Mrs. Sarah C. Callahan a Centertown pioneer and mother of C. J. Pace died yesterday at her home after a brief pneumonia illness. She was 75 and spent most of her life in Centertown with many friends.
