Surgery Associate Named at Missouri Eye Tissue Bank
Dr. Garth S. Russell of Wichita Kansas has been named research associate in surgery at the University of Missouri Medical Center. He will work full time with the Lions Eye Tissue Bank in Columbia starting July 1, handling collection preservation and distribution of eye tissue for transplantation and conducting related research. He earned a BS in 1953 from Kansas State and an MD in 1959 from the University of Kansas. previously served in the U.S. Army and published on transplantation.

In St Joseph Missouri AP report Charles Springs told Sheriff C A Jenkins two raccoons were missing. State conservation agent Roy Tomlinson saw the article and opened an inquiry. Springs was fined 15 dollars in magistrate court for buying furbearing animals out of season and without a permit. Elza Despain faces charges for selling furbearing animals out of season and will stand trial July 12. The raccoons remain missing.
