New York dated June 23 AP reports former G man Leon Turrow offered magazine articles signed by J Edgar Hoover to prove his claim of privilege to publish material from his inquiry into foreign spies. He attached the articles to an affidavit opposing a temporary injunction sought by the government to stop the New York Post from publishing his spy hunt material. The court reserved decision as a temporary restraining order remained in place. Turrow helped solve the Lindbergh kidnapping case and led the recent espionage indictments of 18 individuals, including 14 now in Germany.
