Seven individuals faced Law Day actions in Cole County. James Enke received four years for second degree burglary four years for auto theft and three years for escape to run consecutively with a prior two year Crawford County sentence. Other youths and adults were sentenced for drug selling theft and escapes while a Roark received five years probation for third offense drunk driving. A Kansas City boy, Aaron Tschirhart, 10, died after a motorcycle crash on U S 50 near Noland Road.
