Death of A Schmitt Sparks Funeral Plans at Tipton
A Schmitt 69 died at home six miles southwest of Tipton after two months with arterial hardening. Funeral services are set for 9 a.m. Saturday at St Andrew's church with burial in the church cemetery. Knights of Columbus rosaries planned Thursday night and Friday. He was a lifelong farmer and livestock raiser born June 8 1882 near Tipton, married Elizabeth Schollmeyer in 1917, survived by wife five children two sisters and five grandchildren. He was a member of St Andrew's Holy Name Society and a former Knights of Columbus grand knight.

Miss Lula Walker aged 82 died suddenly at her Russellville home from heart trouble. Funeral services will be at 2 pm June 22 at Russellville Baptist church with burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
