Ford Crashes in Gravel Pile on East Elm Street
F Halliger injured when his Ford truck crashed into a gravel pile in the 200 block of East Elm Street. The vehicle turned and threw the driver from the cab. Halliger says a red warning light was only on one end of the pile. Mrs Will Gordon Dies After Weeklong Illness
Mrs Will Gordon aged 76 died at 1 30 yesterday afternoon at her home on the Columbia highway near Cedar City following a week long illness from a paralytic stroke. She was born near the Boone county line and lived in Callaway county most of her life. Her husband died in February 1927. She attended Mt Pleasant Baptist Church and funeral services are planned for Thursday with burial in Mt Pleasant cemetery. She is survived by six children Mrs Brad Case of Cedar City Mrs Price of Dupois Illinois Newman Gordon Ann Lydia and Jeff Gordon all at home.
