Production engineers discussed have demonstrated a grasp of the conversion problem far in advance of that shown by many of the top industrial and financial executives.
Rainfall records and flood impacts across May and June
Rain fell on most days in May and June with totals of 8.7 inches in May and 3.93 inches so far in June. The heaviest May rainfall was 3.63 inches on May 26 causing creek and small streams to flood. June 12 marked an inch or more in a 24 hour period. Osage River rose nearly ten feet and nearly reached 18.1 feet. Missouri River remained largely stagnant. Jefferson City Conservation Director T. Bode reported Bennett Springs hatchery stock washed away and fishing closed until trout can be rescued and replenished from other hatcheries.

Flood hits Bennett Springs Park trapping campers in trees
A cloudburst produced a 25 foot wall of water at Bennett Springs Park marooning several people. Kansas City youths Jones Benjamin Richard Kingsbury and Paul Williams swam to safety or hid in a tree for hours while state patrol rescued others by boat.
