Convicted killer on social pass kidnaps five Sunday
Carl C. Bowles, 33, who left prison on a four hour social pass, seized a mobile home car and motorcycle Sunday forcing five people to accompany him. He was shot in the Spokane River and is in critical condition after surgery. Bowles faces escape charges and had a two life term record from Nevada.
