Mail Carrier Kills Six-Foot Rattlesnake

Two Injured in Car Crash Near Loose Creek
Jefferson City residents Charles Haynes and Leroy Mayes were seriously hurt last night when their Dodge touring car skidded on the St. Louis Highway near Loose Creek. Haynes suffered a broken arm, back injuries, and cuts. Mayes endured painful but less severe injuries. The car was owned by Haynes and wrecked in the accident.

Chandler to Be Arraigned Today in Circuit Court

Chandler an ex-convict and alleged check artist faces arraignment in Cole county circuit court on four counts of writing bad checks totaling 22 dollars drawings on a Russellville bank with no funds.
