U S firms to import Russian natural gas

Missouri Traffic Wrecks Kill Four in Separate Crashes
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported four fatalities in traffic crashes across the state. In Columbia a one car crash on I 70 killed Stephanie Hutchen, 22, and her daughter Gia, with several others injured or listed in varying conditions. Near Kirksville a head on collision killed Nellie Rice, 62, while her husband Hubert Rice and another driver were injured. A third wreck on a county road near Competition left one rider dead and others injured.

Accused Slayer Indicted In Missouri Magistrate Court
Richard Richardson was indicted on April 11 after being charged in magistrate court. Bond set at 10000 by Judge O Lee Munger. Richardson declared indigent, public defender appointed. He died at 314 a m April 10 from stab wounds at Charles E Still Hospital. Coroner Dr Lawrence E Giffen cited one of five stab wounds as cause. Clark forest chief promoted consolidation eyed in Missouri

Cancer Crusade Donations Exceed 1973 Goal in Cole County
Cole County residents donate to Cancer Crusade, raising about 18 025 dollars to surpass the 15 158 dollar goal set by drive chair Mrs. Al Sikes. Water district sells bonds for Cole County district
