United Missouri Bank of Jefferson City N A plans to open July 1 in a temporary 1170 square foot building at 300 Bix Road as the 15th bank in United Missouri Bancshares Inc The new bank will offer full services including Blue Banner account options with 13 services and features a 9 to 6 lobby schedule and 7 30 am to 6 pm drive up window. Officers include Kemper Kreighbaum McHenry and French. Construction of a permanent building is set for mid 1975 with a contemporary design and glass walls.

Fulton drops foster grandparent program at Fulton State Hospital
A federal directive ends the foster grandparent project at Fulton State Hospital Youth Center in Fulton Missouri. About twenty seniors earned 1.75 dollars an hour assisting emotionally disturbed youths before eight were reassigned to the University of Missouri Medical Center and Woodhaven in Columbia. Girl 14 dies in head on collision on Nieman Ridge Road
Pamela Jerilyn Eiken a 14 year old Holts Summit girl died in a head on crash on Nieman Ridge Road about 1.5 miles north of Highway 94 at 11 30 a m. The passenger in the Eiken car died while driver Gerard J Eiken 18 and Karen Jermann Eiken 13 were treated in serious condition at St Marys Health Center. The state highway patrol said the southbound Eiken vehicle met the Amend vehicle driven by Sandra Kay Amend 32 of Holts Summit on a curve.

Traffic accidents claim three lives in Missouri
Three people died in separate Missouri crashes on Thursday. In Pettis County a 19 year old, Dennis Coffey of Windsor, died when his pickup was sideswiped by a 89 year old Windsor driver Charles Johnston and a 26 year old Calhoun man Lesmeister was also killed. A 77 year old Cumberland man James Nichols died on Interstate 29 at the junction with Mo 169 in Buchanan County. In Camden County a 19 year old Sedalia man John Foote and 24 year old Karen Erickson from Osage Beach were injured when their car was rear ended on U S 54 near Mo 42. they were treated at Lake Ozark Clinic.
