Driver Ted C Reece of Kansas City escaped with minor injuries as the rig and its contents suffered about 9000 in losses. Funeral services for Mrs Roberta Ester Keeney 77 of Summerfield will be held at Noon Friday at Pilot Knob Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Born in Osage County she was the daughter of Thomas Goadsman and lived married to George Keeney. Survivors include son Barry Keeney three daughters Mrs Raymond Schultz Mrs Bryce Jett and Mrs Paul Hutchison sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jasper Thomas Roberts 80 of Lohman who died Tuesday in Fulton were held today at a local funeral home with burial planned for Riverview Wednesday morning in Kirks Gardens. A separate notice notes the death of Mary Brown Elston native of Jefferson City widow of George L Elston. Survivors include Frank Brown Elston Webster Groves sister Rose Brown Cuthbertson Dayton and brothers Linn F Brown Vancouver Paul M Brown Rogers Atk and William L Brown Midland Texas along with four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The Bridge Drive-In Theatre at Cedar City was burglarized Tuesday morning. Missouri Highway Patrol reported entry through a broken window to the protection room, one burglar cut on glass leaving blood drops. Loot included a .410 gauge shotgun, a pocket knife, a small dictionary, 35 nickels from 1858 to 1912, 200 pennies, trading stamps, slashed upholstery on six office chairs, damaged box office door, power shed door, six broken floodlights, and damaged letters on the attentionary board. Break-in time estimated between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Postmaster William C. Bair attends a three day national convention in St. Louis of the National Association of Postmasters of the United States. Blair says postmasters will join seminars and lectures by postal officials and tour the St. Louis post office to study its operations.
More than 250 Mid-Missouri Masons attended an All-Masonic Night barbecue sponsored by the Capital Shrine Club at Ellis Porter Park Tuesday night. Arch R. McEwan potentate of the Moolah Temple of St. Louis spoke briefly, joined by five other temple officers. Attendees represented Masonic units from Jefferson City and nearby communities.
The Osage Bluff 4 H Club scheduled June 24 as Achievement Night and invited the Henley club as guests. An achievement and judging committee was named including Mrs. Clyde Popp, Mrs. N. A.
