Quigley Sworn In as Fourteenth District Senator in 1925 Session
On February 6 1925 Senate session chaired by President Bennett certified the election of Frank J Quigley to the Fourteenth Senatorial District. Quigley took the oath with readings of bills and calendar items including federal topics and committee reports as lawmakers prepared for adjournment.

Mrs Ode Wilcox spent Saturday evening with Aunt Mary Hughes. Elmer Baker and son visited relatives after Sunday school. Harry Buchannon, a local teacher, spent the week end with his parents near New Bloomfield. Frank Blackman of Mexico stayed with his sister in law Mary Hughes Thursday night. Mr and Mrs Watson of Mexico visited Sunday at Betty Hughes home returning on the 2:19 train. Tariten Beaver and family, with mother, dined with Mr and Mrs Brownfield north of town. G W Hidlebaugh will reopen his restaurant near the depot. The town invites all to call, especially if hungry. Cletus Hobbs of Centertown will stay with his mother and seek highway work. Mr Wilson, the new blacksmith, moves his family from Wainwright today to a tenant house near the shop. Mrs James Trewin, in St Marys Hospital, Jefferson City, underwent a second operation and is recovering. The post office moved Monday February 2 to the Hidlebaugh brothers store with Lloyd Hidlebaugh appointed postmaster.
