Explosion levels cabin in Osage Beach

An explosion and fire leveled a four cabin site at Osage Beach Lake of the Ozarks. Three boys Paul Waters 15 David Waters 18 and Richard Duncan 12 visited the cabin area to observe court procedures. Damage estimated at 25000 dollars with roof blown off and walls collapsed.

Icy roads spark string of Missouri accidents and fatalities

Icy conditions and freezing rain caused a run of weekend crashes across Central Missouri. Dozens injured, with eight deaths statewide, including Sandra Fay Rush and Rhonda Rush near Carthage, and other fatal crashes on I-70, M-47, and U S 37.

Five Nuns Injured in Wentzville Area Crash

Five local nuns and teachers from St Peters Elementary School in Jefferson City were injured in a highway crash along I-70 near Wentzville. Hospitalized with serious injuries, Sister Marcelline Paber, Sister Ronald Marie Trott, and Sister Hulogia Websels were identified among the injured.

Jefferson City milk program rated highly by health division

The Missouri Division of Health rated Jefferson City milk supply strong with two pasteurization plants delivering to the city.
