Carl Brown, chairmen of the Red Cross war relief drive, said last night that Cole county still was $2,500 short of its $10,000 quota. The campaign head said she was confident the quota will be subscribed before the end of the week. Contributions are received from social and civic organizations in the county and towns. no special appeal had been made. Brown asked residents missed by volunteers to call 3828. Contributions can be mailed to county headquarters at Monroe and McCarty streets in Jefferson City.
