New York December 22 Up Oklahoma has more bank holdups than any other state with Missouri second, James Baum deputy manager of the Protective Committee of the American Bankers Association said. For the year ending August 31 Oklahoma had 58 daylight holdups and four burglaries totaling 125000 dollars. Missouri had 49 holdups and robberies totaling 130503 dollars. The nation saw 854 holdups and 77 burglaries totaling 2 756 000 dollars. Baum cited rural hostility to desperadoes as a factor and mentioned Charles Pretty Boy Floyd whose bank thefts in Oklahoma have drawn a price of 3000 dollars on his head. Floyd has robbed more than six banks in the past year and is wanted on murder charges. His acts are said to have earned him both friendship and fear among locals.
Governor Henry S. Caulfield signed multiple requisitions for extraditions. George Dovell, held in Kansas City, faces grand larceny charges and will be moved to Denver by Sheriff Harry Bevers. Iowa cases involve Leona Brady and Beatrice Grissel tied to a November bank robbery netting 8047 dollars. Additional papers request Johnny Fields extradition from Jay Oklahoma to McDonald County Missouri for assault with intent to kill.

The Jefferson City Jays lose to Eldon Mustangs 16 to 10 at Eldon. A slow first half in a small gym left the Jays trailing 10 to 2 at halftime. Jefferson City swapped defenses after the break but could not overcome the deficit. Newton scored 8 and Mason 4 for the Jays.
The Public Service Commission granted the St. Louis San Francisco Railroad permission to discontinue its La Tour station in Johnson County. A caretaker will replace the present agent as the railroad cited insufficient business in Latour, a village of about 100 residents, to justify the agency.
