Washington December 21 Treasury officials announced the bureau of engraving and printing will not sell uncut sheets of dollar bills for Christmas wrappings. A spokesman said inquiries about selling money fresh from the press were received, but the department does not offer uncut sheets for sale.
About 700 St Louis County employees will miss their December pay over the Christmas holidays. County Auditor Clarence Hol Hackman said no funds are available for 135000 dollars. Pay is usually issued before Christmas and this is the first time in 15 years the county cannot meet its payroll. Funds will be available after January 1 from tax collections and loans.

Cheyenne Wyoming December 21 CAP Ten year old David Wilson and his 11 year old brother Clinton were found suffocated in an old fashioned trunk. Authorities believe they were placed inside yesterday afternoon or early evening and accidentally locked in when the trunk top was closed. Police and sheriff's officers and the boys parents Mr and Mrs John Disarra had been frantically searching since late yesterday.
A petition filed yesterday in the circuit clerk's office by Marvin J. Starke seeks a judgment of 1,062.94 against Fred Franken, Herbert E. Probasco, and Lloyd McKinley for 9,595 pounds of corn delivered to Franken. The petition alleges the order to release the corn to McKinley and Probasco for trucking, with interest at six percent since May and court costs, constitutes the owed amount.
