Lee Humphrey of Tebbets was fined $25 yesterday morning by Police Judge Foster Wheatley after pleading guilty in police court to exceeding the speed limit. He was arrested after his car ran onto the lawn at 628 Clark Avenue, swerving between parked cars and stopping two feet from the residence. A Rolla driver also paid a $1 fine for overtime parking in uptown Rolla.

Hunters pursue possums and rabbits under dim lights with treks through brush and hollows as Elmer Adams posts a fourteen coon haul in five days and couples share in the hunt. Local drama, the dogs, hunters, and neighbors create a frontier nightly scene.
St Louis report says Fryhoff argues for a joint airport board as the logical solution to regional planning problems in the St Louis and Kansas City areas where landing fields are proposed in two adjoining states.
Eugene V. Pryhoff head of the aviation section of Missouri state department of resources and development spoke at a St. Louis aviation foundation meeting urging the next state legislature pass constructive laws to meet increased needs of private and commercial flying.
County Clerk William H. Tellman announced new hunting and fishing permits for 1947. State hunting and fishing permits cost 4.15 dollars, hunting licenses 2.65, fishing licenses 1.65. Combined licenses for next year 2.15. Non-resident fishing permits yearly 3.15 and one day permits 1.15.
