Five jail escapees rearrested within two hours
Cassville Missouri five escapees from Barry County jail were recaptured in a two hour span Thursday night 8:30 to 10:30. Cecil Woods 36 of Tulsa Sandy Lahl 20 of Tulsa Larry Hurd 22 of Springfield Wills Lloyd 18 and William H Collins 18 of Monett were arrested near Cassville drive in restaurant at Washburn and nearby. None resisted and authorities say they hid in a Cassville church attic after fleeing sometime between midnight and 1 a.m. Thursday. Woods Lahl Hurd and Collins faced burglary charges Lloyd faced statutory rape.

Two Charged with Forgery in Des Moines Cashing
Two Columbia residents, Robert C. Doxley 21 and Nathaniel Jackson 23, were held in Cole County jail on forgery charges. Jefferson City police said they were picked up in Des Moines on warrants issued Nov. 24 and charged with cashing two American Express money orders for 87 dollars and 40 cents each at local supermarkets. Detectives noted additional similar money orders cashed in the area in late October.
