In St Louis AP report lawyer Wilfred Jones testifies that government key witness Grace Thomasson recruited him to obtain a baby for adoption in the Nellie Tipton Muench mail fraud case. He says Thomasson funded the infant known as the Price baby, which died five days after removal from the Muenchs. He explains the other deal meant a replacement child. Thomasson testified that Muench sought a baby to use in the hoax and tied Jones and Berroyer and Dr Muench into the plan. A birth announced in 1935 by Muench was later returned to Anna Ware by a St Louis court.
