Linsin Named Vice-Chair of Missouri State Highway Commission
Roger R. Linsin of St. Louis was named Vice-chair of the Missouri State Highway Commission at the monthly Jefferson City meeting. Linsin, a five-year veteran, previously received a two-year term starting Dec. 12, 1967, and was reappointed in 1969 for a six-year term. He is president and owner of the Normandy Tank Car Corporation and Midland Reclamation Company.

Prompt tax payment urged for Cole County residents
Cole County residents are urged to pay property taxes by next week to avoid fines as the December 31 deadline nears. County Collector Bert Koester reported about 44 percent of the $4.5 million due has been collected, with about 20 000 statements mailed in November based on a 1972 assessed value of $110.3 million.

MPL asks out in gas expansion plan
