Son Admits Killing Father In Missouri Coal Family
Belleview Missouri December 13 AP a 45 year old farmer miner Burt Henson was shot in the head and died en route to a hospital. His 13 year old son Billy Henson has admitted the shooting after the family argued over plans to rent and stock a farm near Willisville Illinois. Billy surrendered to Iron County Sheriff Ogie Selinger in Ironton after the incident. The boy said he fired the rifle when he saw his father choking his mother. Belleview lies about ten miles north of Ironton.

He married Erna Marie Bugbee in 1917 and was active in Cedar City Methodist church and Modern Woodmen. Survived by wife two daughters his mother four brothers two sisters and three grandchildren.

Reign of Terror Charge On Seven
Seven men were arrested in TARLTON Tennessee on a case dubbed a reign of terror by hooded night riders and a string of fires. Sheriff Jim Meeks said arrests ended the trouble that had uneasy residents for months. The hooded riders were not connected to the Ku Klux Klan. Deputy State Fire Marshal Kirk Webb and Asst Dist Atty Gen A F Sloan said indications show the reign of terror is ended. The probe began after Herman Hobbs foreman of the grand jury had his barn burned last winter amid a grand jury investigation of illegal liquor traffic.
