Faurot Accepts Job As All Star Coach

Kansas City Dec. 12 AP Don Faurot University of Missouri football coach said he had accepted an offer to serve as head coach of the West All Stars in the East West game at San Francisco New Year s Day. Lynn Waldorf of Berkeley and Marchmont Schwartz of Stanford will assist Faurot who said he would leave for the West coast about Dec 17.

New Bloomfield High Loses to Town Boys

New Bloomfield High School A team fell 27 to 44 at home to the Town team. Towners led 13-12 at halftime with Henry Sweeten scoring 13 for the winners and David Bryan adding 10 for the High School. The High School play is scheduled for Tuesday.
