McKay Buick Co. sues Tom Stinson of 511 Lafayette Street to recover 58.13 for parts and repairs. Fidelity and Casualty Co. of New York sues Paul Schultz Winnie Schultz and Jack Spillers doing business as Paul Schultz Plumbing and Heating Co. to recover 123.21 paid to the Missouri Hotel for alleged damage by Ralph Wagner, an employee of the defendant, to a plate glass window on Sept. 19.

Kansas City police say Joseph Nastasio Jr has been linked to 37 holdups over three years after a review of information from the 25 year old suspect. He was arrested last Thursday and allegedly implicated in four murders. Nastasio signed a five page confession in the gang slaying of George Oliver Hayes, a 19 year old whose body was found September 3 in a local parking lot. Authorities pursuing James Salvatore Duardi report weather delays in New Mexico as they move to arrest him in connection with the June 25 murder of George W Weaver in North Kansas City.

Playwright Eugene O Neill Nobel and Pulitzer prize winner is in critical condition at Faulkner Hospital age 63 from Mamblehead home. He returned to the hospital last weekend after prior visits with Parkinsons disease described as deterioration of the nerve centers.
Charles A Johnston 74 retired farmer and contractor of Bonnets Mill died at St Marys hospital Jefferson City after two years illness. Funeral services set for 2 30 p m Saturday at Ainn funeral chapel burial in Cady Creek near Bonnots Mill. Survived by wife three sons Lincoln Edgar and Wayne Johnston Chamois three daughters Mrs Harold Bowen Detroit Mrs Ralph Maeney Bonnots Mill Dorothy Johnston of home two brothers Oscar Chicago Roy Slater seven grandchildren. Member of Methodist Church.
Six foreign students studying at the University of Missouri spoke at a meeting of the Methodist Woman's Society of Christian Service in the Methodist church. Speakers came from Denmark, Hawaii, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Japan and China. The program theme was Evidence of Faith in Others, with Mrs. John Barton stressing the goal of fostering respect for all kinds of constructive Christian work and the need for each member to contribute her gifts.
Kathleen Gaines, a nine month brain cancer patient, died at Mercy hospital in Springfield. Her Christmas party on November 16 included a tree and gifts despite her illness. She received letters from around the country and from Korea, including telegrams from Dr Ralph Bunche and Walter Winchell.
