Boy's Three Week Nosebleed Subsides in Care
Philadelphia report states 19 year old Clarence from Bridgeton New Jersey had a three week nosebleed. Hahnemann Hospital announced he responded to treatment overnight and rested comfortably after two transfusions and prior attempts to stop the flow at Bridgeton Hospital.

Death of Walter H. Craig Retired Shoe Worker
Walter H. Craig 80, of Centertown Missouri, died at his son's home after a ten month illness. Born February 14 1866 in Bonne Terre he worked 30 years for Buster Brown Shoe Co in St Louis and later lived in Clayton. Survived by wife Minnie Hansing. three sons James R. Craig Hansing Walter Jr. and daughter Margaret Estes. nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral set in Lemay St Louis County.

John Turner Sims 76, a Boone county farmer, died at his Ashland home yesterday evening after months of illness. Born March 10, 1870, he owned a county farm until retirement and lived in Ashland 11 years. Survived by wife Rebecca Jane Griffin. daughter Mrs Magmie MecCabe. sons Truman Lewis Frank Sims of Ashland and Paul Sims of Columbia. seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral at Goshen church conducted by Elder Lloyd Sapp tomorrow at 2 p.m.

False police calls land jail terms for three youths
Three local youths, Bob Wade, Cletus Schafer, and Clyde Means, pleaded guilty to turning in false alarm calls to the police. Each was sentenced to five days in jail.
