Blue Baby Dies After Opera tion At Barnes Hospital
Sandra Sue Christian aged year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Harold Christian of Highway 50 West died at Barnes hospital St Louis Wednesday morning after a Tuesday operation for a congenital heart defect known as a Chloe baby. Doctors called the surgery successful but complications developed and she could not recover. The child had been at the hospital two weeks before the four hour operation and regained consciousness that night. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
