Ned Schell Construction Co. of Jefferson City won the contract to expand the state Employment Security building. The bid was 434 900. Scheperle Construction Co. was about 14 000 higher. Other bids included C Rallo Construction 440 600 and Bonhot Construction 452 000. The addition on the east side will add a sub basement basement and two upper floors with about 30 000 in alterations to the original structure.
