Walter Huskins Jess La Favor and Chas Peterson will appear before Judge Chas H Tucker when the local police court opens at 10 this morning. Huskins was arrested yesterday on Broadway by Officers Schneider and Eldracher La Favor was arrested on Broadway by Eldracher and Schneider Peterson was arrested last night at the M P Depot by Chief Bruns and Schneider All men spent the night in the county jail as guests of Sheriff Withaup.

Firemen were summoned about 3 30 yesterday morning to the rear of Kremer Nash Motor Car Company by night watchman C A Cer who reported a trash fire ignited in an unknown manner. No damage resulted. Mrs Walter Hope and her young daughter returned from Caldwell county visit.

Funeral services for Herbert Kimes at Cameron Missouri
Herbert Kimes 26 died in Columbia hospital after sinus illness developed into meningitis. A Cameron native, he was summer student at the University of Missouri and married to Margaret Reavis with a seven week old daughter Mary Ann. Survivors include his parents, wife, four brothers and a sister. he had taught social science in Jerseyville High School and was slated to be Livingston High School superintendent. Funeral scheduled Sunday in Cameron, former home.

A Buick found abandoned near the White Rose station on West Main Street was identified by Cooper county officers as the vehicle used in the Pleasant Green bank robbery near Sedalia. Owner C. E. Burrill, held on suspicion, claims the car was stolen from him in Sedalia as sheriff of Cooper county transfers him to Boonville for further inquiry.

Gertrude Ederle, 19, from New York, completed the English Channel crossing in 14 hours and 81 minutes becoming the first woman to do so. School Board to Sell Building on Washington School Grounds
