Washington August 6 General Crowder announced the national draft will be issued in 100000 man increments instead of one 500000 group. The plan favors leaving workers in essential industries and farms, with friendly aliens allowed to serve without first papers.
Tulsa dispatch Aug 6 indicates district attorney McGinnis plans to seek the death penalty for those involved in the recent draft uprising. Authorities are assembling evidence as a dynamite-filled carload was captured at Spalding. A group of 26 alleged Working Class Union members is surrounded near Holdenville as officers and a posse race to arrest them.
