A government bureau announces limited female help for Saskatchewan harvests arriving by excursion trains around the 22nd of the month. Married couples with one or two children may be eligible, and applicants must state capacity to house a couple and whether children are acceptable. The bureau will file applications from farmers in order of receipt.
A garden party under Cat Knife Home makers Club auspices will be hosted at Mrs. Ben Dann's home on Tuesday evening August 21. Admission costs include field comforts for Cat Knife boys in the trenches. Acceptable articles include books and cigarettes.
