Funeral Held For Harry A Maser In Mount Savage

One of the area’s largest funerals was held for Harry A Maser with Mount Savage Masons in charge. Services at the house and at the Methodist Episcopal Church featured a preacher’s sermon, a special musical program, large floral tributes, and pallbearers from local banks and mining companies. A historic blizzard then struck, causing glass breakage, downed fences, fallen trees, street blockages, and zero lows, hindering business and causing suffering. Local residents gathered for Maser’s interment as Michael D. Rinehart attended the funeral.
