Christmas Holidays Close Albant County Schools
Public schools in Allegany County close for a two week Christmas vacation until January 3. High School closing exercises feature a Sixteenth Century Miracle Play and music under Prof. Alvin Serf. Pupils' exhibits decorate classrooms with drawings, dances, and songs, while a Christmas pageant and student artwork fill the auditorium.
