Mrs John J Wier with her daughter Mrs Forsyth returned to Cumberland by Thursday evening's train. Harvest anniversary services are set for Grace Methodist Church tomorrow with Rev. Mr Reid of the Canadian Bible Society preaching in the morning and the choir to render special music in the evening. Rev F Vey from Australia will conduct Holy Trinity Church Cumberland tomorrow at 7 pm. Messrs Newbury and Ashley Vancouver contractors have started excavating for the basement of the new Cumberland school building 96 by 54 feet four rooms basement 8 ft high modern in details adjoining the public school.
