Notable costumes and a notable comic group delighted attendees with Rastus Mandy and Topsy revealed as nursing staff. Miss Brown won Best Dressed Lady. Judges named winners across categories. Tombola prizes were awarded and Plump's Orchestra provided music for the night.

A Fortnightly whist drive and dance at War Veterans Hall drew a large crowd. Thirteen tables played in the cards event and many more joined the dance afterward.
