The Canadian Collieries (Dunsmuir) Limited of Victoria B C informs it will apply to lease 96 acres on the Nelson District foreshore Vancouver Island. A B Waterhouse of Port Alberni intends to apply for permission to lease lands in the Nelson Land District Nanaimo Recording District located one mile north of Union Bay Baynes Sound. The parcel covers about 40 acres with a shoreline route described from Lot 11 starting at the south east corner, measuring 5800 feet along shore then 500 feet inland then along the low water mark, returning to the start. Dated August 17 1920.
