Special Service To Open Campbell River Church
Campbell River prepares for the opening of a new church with a special morning service at eleven on Sunday March 22. The project was financed in just over ten months since the first meeting on May 12 last year. A Diocese of Columbia loan should keep the debt low for three years if promises and donations materialize. Rev. Alan Greene leads a series of services with Rev. George Knox assisting at the opening, showing Anglican openness to other communities. The event aims to foster religious activity and communal blessing in Campbell River. A dedicatory service will follow on Sunday April 19, led by Bishop Schofield of Victoria.
