Courtenay Woman Robbed in Early Morning Hold Up
About 11 o clock Thursday morning Mrs. F V Hall of Lake Trail Road Courtenay was held up by two men who entered her home and took twelve dollars from a purse in her bedroom after she told them she had no money. Police notified and within minutes were in the bush near the Hall residence seeking the suspects described by Mrs Hall. Mr Hall, Cumberland Cricket Club member, was away at the time.

Drinks Cost Plenty In Cumberland
Three Cumberland youths pleaded guilty before Magistrate John Conway to drinking intoxicating liquor in a public place at the Athletic Club verandah on February 1.
