Belgians urged to join army with free transport option
The Belgian Government appeals to all able Belgians to serve as volunteers for the war. Former soldiers and volunteers will receive free transportation to the Belgian army headquarters. Eligible Belgians aged 18 to 80 are asked to present themselves at the Consulate, 705 Fort Street, Victoria, B C for medical exams, rations, accommodations and transport guidance.

Coal mining rights in Manitoba Saskatchewan Alberta the Yukon Northwest Territories and part of British Columbia may be leased for twenty one years at an annual rental Llanacre. Up to 2 500 acres per applicant. Applications in person to the district Agent. In surveyed areas describe by sections or subdivisions, in unsurveyed areas stake out the tract.
