Ilo-Ilo Hall Opens With Grand March and Large Attendance

The Ilo-Ilo Dance Hall opened on Thursday evening drawing about seventy couples and a large crowd. Cumberland Symphony Orchestra provided music as Mr and Mrs Thornley led the Grand March. Dances continued to 280 with Home Waltz and God Save the King. Plans are spoken of for regular future entertainments in the Ilo-Ilo Hall. Simon Leiser & Co Ltd prep for grand millinery opening to be announced later. A dance at West Cumberland Band Hall is slated for Saturday Aug 15 with West Cumberland Conservative Band providing music. Gent 50 cents Ladies free.
