At the session of the Orphans Court Judges Coulehan Bruce and John son and A H Dowden Register presided. Thomas H Hobbs was appointed guardian to Wm E Souser.

Parents found their sixteen year old sons missing after packing satchels in Mr Long’s stable and sending them toward Cincinnati. Disbursements include 7000 for accidental deaths 5389.24 for injuries 1249.45 for surgical expenses 10066.65 for natural sickness and 6908.55 for natural deaths totaling 30613.89. Total paid to members from May 1 1880 to April 30 1888 reached 1720670.20. The free circulating library reopened June 1 with 5000 new books. catalogue and application blanks available at major stations and library committees.
