City Manager weighs filling old Park Well amid doubts
Cuero City Manager Larry Smith considers sealing the old brick lined well behind the Bandstand in City Park after heavy rains damaged the capping. He notes the well may still be usable and could require 25 to 30 truckloads of sand to fill. If reused, drilling costs could reach five dollars per foot with depths of 900 to 1100 feet in hot months.
