Buck Schiwetz Demonstrates Coastal Scenes for Cuero Guild
In March 1966 the Cuero Art Guild hosted Buck Schiwetz for a live watercolor demonstration in two rooms of the Buchel Bank building. He rapidly built sky, sea, a bait shack, nets, a beached boat and a trailer, then added pelicans and gulls. The works, using mixed media, were finished with quick strokes. The pieces will be on view at the DeWitt County Historical Museum during the Schiwetz family exhibit opening Oct 4.
