Cuero Board approves hours change and new school program meetings
Cuero Independent School District trustees approve a 4:30 p.m. closing for the central office and a 30 minute lunch break. Four parent meetings will begin Sept 30 to discuss the district education program at French Elementary Hunt Elementary Cuero Junior High and Cuero High School.

Cuero Post 3972, Veterans of Foreign Wars, officially exceeded its 247 member quota for 1976. Eight new members joined, bringing total to 257 as plans unfold for the post float in Gonzales, Cuero, Floresville and Yorktown parades in October. Events include Cuero Turkeyfest booth and a September 25 meeting.
